This Anchovy Pizza combines a crispy crust with tangy tomato sauce, savoury anchovies, and melted cheese for a unique and bold flavour. Perfect for those who love the salty taste of anchovies, it's a simple yet delicious twist on the classic pizza.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 200g tomato sauce
  • 150g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (100g) anchovy fillets in oil, drained
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F). Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  • Arrange the anchovy fillets evenly on the pizza, and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with dried oregano and bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
