This light and delicious lasagna is a twist on the classic, featuring tender fish, cabbage, and fresh vegetables layered with creamy sauce and lasagna sheets. It’s a simple yet flavourful dish, perfect for a comforting meal with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 300g white fish fillet (such as cod or haddock), cooked and flaked
  • 6 lasagna sheets
  • ½ small cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 250ml white sauce (béchamel or cream-based)
  • 100g grated cheese (mozzarella or parmesan)
  • Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a baking dish, layer the lasagna sheets, fish, cabbage, and carrot, then pour over some white sauce.
  • Repeat the layers and finish with sauce and grated cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
